Surrender.

"Surrender" by Chemda

In the course of a love

That I gripped on to

What I thought should be done

Wasn’t right.

When I pulled,

You were pushing.

So I tried harder.

But what was

Just was wasn’t

But I held tight.

All I used to feel

You slipped through

Quietly appealed for you

To recognize and sound as if you knew.

Patience tend to spill before you

Dreams we thought were gone and slipped through

All the while you rapidly withdrew.

I surrender fatefully

To promises can break or be true

All I really wanted was a fight.

I can give you all I gave you

Nothing chose of what it made you

As you go I’ll bid you a goodnight.

In your voice and your touch

I felt you leaving.

But I wanted again

Just one more night.

And I hoped there were things

I could do better.

But when I reached the ground

Nothing’s inside.

One of those rare songs that touch you from the very first time you hear it. A song that has become a theme of sorts...

I love that song. I heared it somewhere and it just stuck to my heart. That song really moved me so much that I had to search for it. I did not know who it was by or what it was called and so Googled it non stop for three days and finally found it here.

Cheers.

It's haunting, isn't it?
